Should You Include an Earlier Hammock Model?
A discontinued hammock can still be useful to identify, compare or inspect in a second-hand listing. It is not the same as a currently offered model, and a finder result cannot establish that a seller has the exact item in stock or that a used setup is complete.
Current-library update, November 2, 2026: The earlier totals below were calculated before the Woodland Expedition Zip M116 was individually assessed. The cycle-56 answer sentences inside the anchored sections supersede prior 57-current and 58-total results where they differ; the model remains a current reference, not proof of live seller stock.
Choose current model references only
Cycle 74 current-only answer: Excluding earlier references returns 70 current configurations, including the open Swiftlet Everything Bundle; neither it nor the separately labelled Scout Classic is an earlier model. This library count does not promise seller stock. Find current references only → · Review the current Swiftlet Everything Bundle and the separately earlier Scout Classic.
Cycle 68 current-only answer: Excluding earlier references returns 69 current configurations, including Sunda 2.0 and Wallaby; neither is the separately labelled Scout Classic. This state reports the reviewed library, not current seller stock. Find current references only → · Review Sunda 2.0 and Wallaby.
Cycle 67 current-only answer: Excluding earlier references returns 67 current configurations, including the distinct standard Mantis and Mantis UL products; neither is the older Scout Classic. Both current models appear in the no-earlier comparison, but the earlier choice does not establish a seller's stock or the safety of a complete hang. Find current references only → · Compare Mantis and Mantis UL.
Cycle 66 current-only and package interaction: The no-earlier choice now compares 65 current configurations, including both standard Roo Single and its distinct Python 10 bundle; neither is the older Scout. At the same time, requiring tree straps returns 52 current offers: the Python 10 bundle is included, while standalone Roo Single is not. This is the assessed library, not a promise of live stock. Find current references only → · Add same-package straps → · Review standalone Roo Single and the Python 10 bundle.
Cycle 65 current answer: Choosing current-only results compares 63 current-model records in this partial library, including the three individually assessed Roo Double configurations; this does not guarantee seller stock. Find the exact current-only set → · Compare Roo Double, Roo Double Printed and Roo Double XL.
Cycle 64 decision: Choosing current-only results compares 60 current-model records in this partial library, including the open 100-inch Roo Single UL; this does not guarantee seller stock. Compare current-only references → · Review the current Roo Single UL · Compare M166 · Compare M116
The historical explanatory paragraphs below contain the previous 59-current-model total; the cycle-64 answer above is the current 60-model reference count. Roo Single UL remains current in either quiz state.
Decision: Choosing current-only results excludes the discontinued Scout Classic M70APR even when its documented features meet your other requirements. This setting compares 59 current-model records in this partial library; it does not guarantee that any particular variant is in stock at a seller. Woodland Safari Deluxe Zip XXL M166 is one of these current references; its 12-by-59-inch listed fabric body, attached screen, 350-pound body limit and large stock Hex fly are distinct from 10-foot Expedition M116. Its product page conflicts about 42- versus 72-inch webbing, so confirm the exact package. The current 4Season Survivorman Zip XL M346 has a 130-by-59-inch listed body, 350-pound hammock-body limit, and explicitly included foam pad and survival-kit concept; its weight basis and complete kit contents remain unresolved. The standard 4Season Expedition Zip M316 is a distinct screened package with stock fly, supplied TreeHugger webbing and a two-layer pad-oriented bottom; check its 250-pound body limit and confirm current foam-pad contents. Its distinct custom P316E body builder also remains current, with three webbing choices and no base-step fly, but its exact fabric dimensions are not stated. The custom P336E 4Season Explorer XL builder is another current Zip body with three selectable webbing lengths and no base-step rainfly; its shared M336 model page lists a 130-by-59-inch body and 300-pound hammock limit, but the custom cart has no credible all-in weight and its pad contents are not itemized. The Leaf Lounger M310 and M330 XL are current references with 42-inch webbing, but are open loungers without a listed insect screen or rainfly. The Cub Zip M80 is a very small current screened package with same-package webbing, unlike the standard Deep Jungle Zip M230 and Ultralite Backpacker Classic M20. Read each exact configuration and verify the live offer.
Use the finder with the same single choice: Compare current-model references only →. Add a body length, width, capacity, integrated screen or same-package webbing requirement separately if it matters to your decision.
Include earlier model references
Cycle 74 earlier-inclusive answer: Including earlier references returns 70 current configurations plus the separately labelled earlier Scout Classic, for 71 records; the Swiftlet Everything Bundle remains current. Enabling earlier references does not verify seller availability. Find current plus earlier references → · Review the current Swiftlet Everything Bundle and the earlier Scout Classic.
Cycle 68 earlier-inclusive answer: Including earlier references returns 69 current configurations plus the separately labelled earlier Scout Classic, for 70 records; Sunda 2.0 and Wallaby remain current references. Enabling the earlier filter does not verify that Scout is available from a seller. Find current plus earlier references → · Review Sunda 2.0, Wallaby and the earlier Scout Classic.
Cycle 67 earlier-inclusive answer: Including earlier references returns 67 current configurations plus the separately labelled earlier Scout Classic, for 68 records; Mantis and Mantis UL remain current products in this set. This choice does not verify current stock, used-item condition, compatibility or the load rating of a full hang. Find current plus earlier references → · Review Mantis, Mantis UL and the earlier Scout Classic.
Cycle 66 earlier-reference interactions: Including the earlier choice returns 65 current configurations plus the unavailable Scout Classic, for 66 total; both Roo Single offers remain current, not earlier. Requiring same-package straps then returns 53 records, including the Python 10 bundle but not standalone Roo Single. At a 200-pound body-capacity floor, 64 records match; at a 210-pound body-capacity floor, 56 records match. The Roo Single exact pages list 500 pounds, while a separate comparison says 400 for the standard model, so check current exact instructions. Body limits do not rate the complete hang or establish Scout stock. Find current plus earlier references → · Add same-package straps → · Find the 200-pound body floor → · Raise it to 210 pounds → · Compare Roo Single, its Python 10 bundle and the earlier Scout Classic.
Cycle 65 current answer: Selecting earlier references compares 63 current-model records plus the unavailable Scout Classic M70APR, for 64 records total; all three Roo Double bodies remain current. Find the exact earlier-inclusive set → · Compare Roo Double, Roo Double Printed and Roo Double XL.
Cycle 64 decision: Selecting earlier references compares the 60 current-model records plus the unavailable Scout Classic M70APR; Roo Single UL remains current and this choice does not establish stock, condition or compatibility. Include earlier-model references → · Review why Roo Single UL remains current · Review earlier Scout Classic M70APR · Compare current M116
This retained background was drafted against the previous 59-current-model snapshot; the active 60-current plus one-earlier result set is stated immediately above.
Decision: Selecting earlier models adds Scout Classic M70APR to matching results only when its recorded features meet the selected requirements; this choice does not confirm stock, seller, condition or compatibility. The exact Hennessy product record marks this discontinued-color variant unavailable, and its page says it is out of stock. Its title and SKU identify a Scout Classic, while one sentence in the sales copy says Scout Zip; the same page's detailed entry text specifies a Classic bottom entrance with hook-and-loop closure. Keep that discrepancy visible rather than borrowing the current side-entry Scout Zip M76 description. All 59 current records remain available for comparison alongside that one earlier reference. Current Woodland Safari M166, M346 Survivorman XL, standard M316, separate P316E builder and custom P336E Explorer XL body builder remain distinct from the unavailable Scout.
The M70APR page lists a 112-by-59-inch body, a 5-foot-8-inch height limit, a 200-pound hammock limit, attached mesh, a larger fly and 42-inch webbing. These are manufacturer claims, not fit guarantees, condition evidence or ratings for the whole suspension. Hennessy also says children under 12 must be supervised by an adult. Compare the earlier Scout Classic M70APR with the current, much smaller Cub Zip M80: the Scout's bottom-entry discontinued configuration is not a substitute for the Cub's side-entry body or a proof of current availability. Verify the exact item and follow current maker instructions before considering any remaining or used offer.
Use the finder with the same single choice: Include earlier model references →. Raising the body-length floor to 9.5 feet or the hammock-capacity floor above 200 pounds removes this Scout Classic, even though its integrated screen and standard package may answer other needs. The threshold describes only the recorded body attributes; it does not make an unavailable listing purchasable.
Check meaningful fit boundaries
The Scout Classic listing says 112 inches of lower fabric, or 9 feet 4 inches as a conversion. It therefore meets a 9-foot floor but not a 9.5-foot floor. The listing gives 200 pounds as its hammock limit, so it meets a 200-pound minimum but not 210 pounds. These are actual model boundaries, not suggestions about an individual sleeper or the rest of the hang. Compare the measurements with the exact alternatives in the review library and use the exact finder conditions:

Current-only plus a required integrated net returns 46 current configurations, including Woodland M166, M346 Survivorman XL, the Cub Zip M80, 4Season Expedition M316, custom P316E and P336E builders, M230, M20 and Jungle-family offers, but not M70APR. M166's exact US listing says attached 30D net, 143-by-120-inch large Hex fly and 350-pound hammock-body limit; its 12-by-59-inch fabric dimensions differ from the 10-foot M116 Expedition package. M346's exact US listing says attached net, stock fly, webbing, foam pad and survival kit; its 130-by-59-inch body and 350-pound limit are separate from the custom Survivor Woodland Zip, whose numeric body dimensions and capacity are unknown. P316E has an integrated Zip screen and selected webbing, while its exact body dimensions remain unknown; P336E shares the standard XL body's 130-by-59-inch dimensions but its builder starts without a fly and does not itemize pad contents. Current-only plus same-package tree straps returns 51 current configurations, including Woodland M166, M346 Survivorman XL, standard M316, custom P316E and P336E builders, both Leaf loungers, Cub Zip M80, M230, M20 and Jungle-family offers, but not M70APR. M166's page documents same-package TreeHugger webbing but conflicts between 42- and 72-inch claims; M346's standard 2-inch-by-42-inch webbing and separate ropes are named in its exact product listing, and its 350-pound figure is for the hammock body. The Leaf loungers include webbing but no listed insect screen or fly. The Cub's one-package mesh, stock rainfly and webbing differ from custom first steps; M230 is fly-equipped, M20 is bottom-entry, and custom Jungle listings begin without a fly. Both 4Season custom builders begin without a fly; P316E's dimensions are unknown, while P336E's shared XL body page lists 130 by 59 inches. Current comparison points include the 10-foot standard Deep Jungle Zip M230 and 10-foot, bottom-entry Ultralite Backpacker Classic M20; both clear a 9.5-foot body floor, while their distinct access designs and listed 250-/200-pound body limits remain important.
